Special Guest- Dr. Dawn: February is National Children's Dental Health Month. We are happy to have Dr. Dawn, a local pediatric dentist is back again to talk with the children about the importance of taking care of our teeth. Dr. Dawn will be visiting the 2x2, 3x2 and 4x5 classes on Tuesday, February 4th and the 2x3, 3x3, 3x5, and 4x3 classes on Wednesday, February 5th.
Favorite Sport Team Spirit Day: To get in the spirit of the big game, show your support for your favorite team on Thursday, February 6th for the 2x2 and 3x2 classes and on Friday, February 7th for the 2x3, 3x3, 3x5, 4x3 and 4x5 classes. The children may wear to school a sports jersey, hat or any clothing item from their favorite team!
Happy Valentine’s Day: The children will be celebrating Valentine’s Day with an in-class celebration. The celebration will take place on Thursday, February 13th for the 2x2, 3x2 classes and on Friday, February 14th for the 2x3, 3x3, 3x5, 4x3 and 4x5 classes.
For our in-class celebrations:
· Red Day- wear red in celebration of this day of love!
· Special Snack- you may send in a special snack for your child to have at snack time (this snack will be for your child only and should adhere to any allergy restrictions if your child is in an allergy restricted classroom).
· Valentine’s exchange- you are welcome to send Valentine’s to be distributed to the class.
Fundraiser: Our mascot Roar-EE the Lion is still available for purchase! Families can purchase their very own Roar-EE to keep at home.
Got Sneakers? Drop off your sneakers (used or new) in a bag to the preschool office. Shoe donations are sent to “Got Sneakers”, the preschool receives fundraising money for these donations.
